Level 4 definitions
- Fine Boulder: A boulder-dominated substratum where ≥ 80 % of the boulders are between 256-512 mm in any dimension.
- Medium Boulder: A boulder-dominated substratum where ≥ 80 % of the boulders are between 512-1024 mm in any dimension.
- Coarse Boulder: A boulder-dominated substratum where ≥ 80 % of the boulders are between 1024-2048 mm in any dimension.
- Very Coarse Boulder: A boulder-dominated substratum where ≥ 80 % of the boulders are between 2048-4096 mm in any dimension.
